Why is Coppini oil a sustainable choice?

Because extra virgin oil is a high-quality, 100% natural product, the result of sustainability and love for nature. The Coppini retail line is distinguished by:

OUR PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM

We at Coppini have always been very conscious of quality and respect for the environment.

That is why our company is green: this term refers not just to the oil and all our products, but is closely related with the use of clean energy for the company's needs.

In 2011, we installed the first photovoltaic system to cover the entire building, generating 185.75kW of electricity. In 2024, the photovoltaic system was upgraded and renewed, covering the entire building and the company's electricity needs. This makes it possible for us to be a100% green company, optimising the corporate economy and actively contributing to the reduction of air pollution, to give future generations a world with a green heart.

Our
environmental policy

The environmental policy of Oleificio Coppini Angelo covers many points of the production process and product transportation.

Environmental certification 14001

All Coppini products are certified with UNI EN ISO 14001:2015. This important environmental certification requires Oleificio Coppini, by means of annual control audits, to set increasingly higher environmental objectives, so as to increase the company’s environmental performance and minimise its impact on the environment.

ESG - Environmental Social Governance

The ESG topic involving the environment, social rights and their management for greater sustainability and prosperity is very much on Coppini’s mind.

These issues are part of the larger Action Plan of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, signed by UN countries in 2015 and containing the famous 17 goals (so-called SDGs -Sustainable Development Goals).
This is whyOleificio Coppini Angelo is a member of the ESG Ability Observatory of Rome's La Sapienza University and was recognised in november 2023 as the company with the highest ESG value in the oil industry: Coppini’s ESG performance was 0.49, 35% better than the sector benchmark, and better than the sector average of 0.293.
