Oleificio Coppini Angelo has always considered quality to be the fundamental element in producing a healthful product with perfect organoleptic and chemical/physical characteristics. In 1998, the company was one of the first in Umbria to obtain ISO 9001 certification for its quality management system.

THE TESTING LABORATORY: where the quality of coppini is born
Since 2023, Oleificio Coppini has boasted an ultra-modern in-house laboratory with important instruments for the chemical and physical testing of oil:
- GC: gas chromatographs
- HPLC: high-performance liquid chromatographs
- Spectrophotometer
These instruments let us perform all possible types of chemical and physical tests: 5400 analysis every year..
Each instrument is dedicated to a specific type of test to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
The Coppini laboratory team applies official testing methods, which comply with the the regulations of the IOC (International Olive Council) and EU Regulation 2104/2022..
What’s more, in order to constantly monitor and validate the performance and veracity of the laboratory data, Coppini performs self-assessments by participating in the SSOG Oils and Fats Experimental Station of Milan ring tests, which compares Coppini’s laboratory data with those of other (Italian and non) laboratories, validating the results on an official basis.

Oleificio Coppini Angelo produces different types of oils in-house, selecting quality raw materials and favouring those of italian origin.
The Coppinis do everything possible so that processes and activities are oriented towards the achievement of the following goals with regard to food and product safety, environmental protection, ethical principles, and safety in the workplace:
- Achieving and maintaining the quality of the service by the efficient and carefully planned deployment of human resources, means and materials, in a continuous process of business management improvement.
- Measuring quality, environmental and occupational safety performance by means of control and measurement indexes on set objectives and targets.
- Developing a “food quality and safety culture”, site quality and environmental engagement and responsibility among human resources with specific interventions.
- Giving preference to suppliers who ensure products and services that comply as far as possible with food safety, authenticity, quality, and environmental requirements.
- Providing a product that is based on principles of environmental sustainability and ethics whose requirements meet the standards of safety, product authenticity, quality, and those laid down by current legislation, technical specifications, established production schemes, and the ethical code of conduct the company has drawn up.
